The program starts in Rio de Janeiro but also can run in reverse if you prefer to start in Santiago de Chile. Arrival then is to Rio de Janeiro, where you will visit the incredible Sugar Loaf, the Corcovado and the Christ the Redeemer on top. We will enjoy Maracana Stadium, the Sambodromo and all the magic of the Carnival, Copacabana, Ipanema, Leblon, Barra de Tijuca beaches, and more, much more in this incredible city located on the shores of Guanabara Bay. Our next stop is the magic of nature you will find in Iguazu Falls. This unique place on earth was declared recently as one of the new 7-wonders of nature, and it`s a UNESCO World Heritage. Next, we will fly to Buenos Aires, capital city of Argentina and the most european-style city in South America. Enjoy the Tango, the warm of the people, the local gastronomy (taste the malbec wine with a great beef!) and discover places like Caminito in La Boca, San Telmo, the Obelisk, Colon Theatre, Recoleta, Puerto Madero, Palermo and more. Then, we will fly to the argentinian north, to arrive to Salta and from there, visit the icredible Humahuaca Canyon, declared UNESCO World Heritage. Rich in colorful landscapes and culture, we will enjoy Purmamarca and the incredible 7-color hill. Then, we will cross to Chile to visit San Pedro de Atacama, a highlight in South America. From there, we will discover Mars and Moon Valley, the Atacama Desert with the Tatyo Geysers and Puritama Hot Springs, and more, much more. Finally, we will fly to Chile`s capital city. Santiago de Chile is the commercial and financial heart of the country, a modern city from where we will visit Viña del Mar and Valparaiso, and also taste wine in some of the tours available to visit Colchagua Valley.

Day 1

RIO DE JANEIRO

Arrive at Rio de Janeiro airport and transfer to your hotel. Rio de Janeiro was founded in 1565 and it´s one of the most incredible cities you can visit in South America. The warmth of its people, the colorful culture, the incredible beaches, and the landscapes, makes Rio a must-see on your trip to South America. After arrival at the hotel, free time to rest. If you are an active person and arrived early, you can choose any of the following activities available. Take a look at the list below

Day 2

RIO DE JANEIRO: City Tour with Sugar Loaf

After breakfast, and in the morning, we will start our first visit to the incredible Cidade Maravilhosa, in Portuguese Wonderful City. Tour starts with unique panoramic views of the beaches. One of the first stops is the Metropolitan Cathedral, where we will stop for some good photos and learn a bit more about the history of the city. Then, we will go directly to take the cable car to enjoy the Sugar Loaf, an icon of the city. Be ready with your camera to take unique panoramic landscapes of Guanabara Bay and surrounding beaches. You also can see Niteroi and Santa Cruz Fortress from there, and the local beaches of Botafogo and Flamengo. After enjoying the hill for about 45 minutes, we will continue with our trip. We will cross the Santa Barbara tunnel, to see downtown Rio and then go directly to the Sambodromo, a special place that holds the Carnival, the most important event in Rio every year.

Return to our hotel and free time for lunch. It´s a half-day excursion, so you can choose any of the activities listed below to enjoy the afternoon and evening in Rio de Janeiro.

Day 3

RIO DE JANEIRO: Corcovado and Christ the Redeemer

After breakfast, we will start our second visit to Rio de Janeiro. The main attraction is the incredible Christ the Redeemer Statue, declared recently as one of the new seven wonders of the world. It´s located at the top of the Corcovado mountain, which was named for its shape, due to its narrow summit. The statue of Christ the Redeemer was built in 1926 and was a really big challenge for the engineers. It is the most popular attraction of Corcovado mountain and one of the must-sees in Rio de Janeiro. Corcovado and Christ the Redeemer bring over 300,000 visitors every year. From the peak’s platform, the panoramic view includes downtown Rio, as well as the south area. Be ready to take excellent photos from there

After visiting the statue, we will continue our tour to visit Tijuca Forest. It is a natural boundary that splits the city in two. The park has over 3000 species of plants, and hundreds of bird types, and great biodiversity. Without the park, the city temperature would probably increase around two degrees celsius. In general, the tour includes a visit to Corcovado mountain, the statue of Christ the Redeemer, the Tijuca Forest, the Chinese View, the Taunay`s Waterfalls, and the Visitor Center.

Return to your hotel and free time for lunch. Again, it´s a half-day trip so you can enjoy the beach on your own, or maybe add some of our optional tours and enjoy Rio de Janeiro during the afternoon and also in the evening with some interesting dinners and shows.

Day 4

RIO DE JANEIRO: Good bye cidade maravilhosa!

After breakfast, free time until your transfer to the airport. If your flight leaves in the afternoon or also in the evening, you can add some interesting optional activities from the list below.

IGUAZU FALLS: Arrival to Iguazu & check in

Arrival to Iguazu (Puerto Iguazu or Foz do Iguaçu, depending your flight). It`s the gate to visit one of the most incredible shows of nature in South America and the world! Yes, Iguazu Falls was recently declared as one of the new 7-wonders of nature and it`s a UNESCO World Heritage. And of course, a must-see when you visit Argentina or Brazil.
After arrival, we will transfer you to the hotel for check in and rest. Free time to enjoy the pool, or walk the city at your own.

Day 5

IGUAZU FALLS: The Argentinian Side. Enjoying the falls

After breakfast, we will start one of the best excursions you can do in Argentina. Iguazu Falls is a unique place in the world, with all the magic of nature.  The guide will transfer to to the Parque Nacional Iguazu, located in the argentinian side. The park is amazing, and offers up to 8 kilometers of trails to enjoy the falls, basically in three different circuits called Upper Circuit, Lower Circuit and the Trail to the incredible Devil`s Throat with the Ecological Train of the Jungle. The Devil`s Throat is a set of 80 meters high waterfalls that flow into a narrow gorge, which concentrates the largest flow of the Iguazú Falls, being in turn these waterfalls the largest flow in the world. The show is unique and amazing!

Day 6

IGUAZU FALLS: The Brazilian Side, a unique panoramic view of the falls

After breakfast, we will start our visit to the brazilian side of the falls. The park is called Parque Nacional do Iguaçu and the visit is basically a bus ride to enjoy the jungle, and finally a wonderful panoramic view of the falls, along the 1500 mts trail and the elevator. The landscape is unique, so be ready with your camera to take hundred of unforgettable photos!
It`s a half day tour that can be combined with any of the optional activities like the Parque Das Aves (Bird`s Park), or the visit to Itaipu Dam. And you also can add some adventure activities during your visit. Check optionals below.

IGUAZU FALLS: Good bye to the falls

After breakfast, free time until transfer to local aiprort to take flight to your next destination.

BUENOS AIRES: Arrival to the capital city

Welcome to Buenos Aires, the capital city of Argentina and one of the most important cities in South America. After arriving at the International Airport, called Ministro Pistarini and known by the name of Ezeiza, you will be ready to enjoy the European style in the architecture, history, the unique experience of tango, great gastronomy, and the warmth of the local people called “Porteños”. You will stay 3 nights in this unique city and the first day is free to rest. Day 8

BUENOS AIRES: City Tour & Dinner Tango Show

After breakfast, we will start a 4-hour city tour visiting the best of Buenos Aires. As we told you, Buenos Aires is one of the most european cities in South America, to be honest… the most. And it`s because the european influence in the architecture of the beginnings of the past century, when Argentina was the sixth country in the world…

Our tour includes different areas in the city. We will enjoy La Boca, one of the most famous places, that includes Caminito and Boca Juniors Stadium called “La Bombonera”. Of course, we will visit San Telmo, another traditional place in Buenos Aires. Please note, on sundays the famous San Telmo fair will be opened where you can find many interesting antiques.

Our tour also includes the visit to the traditional Plaza de Mayo, with the Government House called “Casa Rosada”, the Cabildo, the Cathedral, and all the history around this emblematic square. We will see the Obelisk and 9 de Julio Avenue. Then, Colon Theatre, one of the most important opera houses in the world. You can take a guided visit if you want, but it`s important to buy tickets in advance. Check with us about this optional activity with more details.

This tour will allow us to get to know other areas of the city, like neighborhoods of Recoleta, Palermo and Puerto Madero, a renovated dockside area with a rich gastronomy offer, where you can finalize your tour and enjoy a great lunch and taste the local gastronomy.

After this tour, you`re free to enjoy the city at your own. There are many activities to do, like the visit to Colon Theatre with Walking Tour, or the excursion to Tigre Delta.

In the evening, you can enjoy some optional tours, like an amazing Tango Show, or a Buenos Aires by night activity before return to your hotel and rest for our next trip tomorrow. Check our options below.

Day 9

BUENOS AIRES: Enjoying the countryside. Visit to an estancia in the Pampas

After breakfast, we will start our tour to the Pampas, to visit one of the traditional estancias or farms. It`s one of the classic visits you can enjoy during your stay in Buenos Aires. usually called “Fiesta Gaucha” and where we will make activities associated with the local traditions, like the typical “Asado Criollo”, an unforgettable horse riding, and the traditional folklore show. After lunch which is included of course, we will enjoy some gaucho demonstration with horses, in activities called Carreras de Sortijas.

Return to the hotel is around 5 pm, and you have some free time for rest, or may be enjoy some of our optional activities available below. We`re ready to help you

Day 10

BUENOS AIRES: Good bye to the big city

After breakfast, free time until transfer to the local airport to take flight or to pier to take boat to our next destination.

SALTA: Arrival to the argentinian northwest

Arrival to Salta, the gate to visit different attractions in the Argentinian northwest. Salta is one of the most important cities, the 7 most populous in Argentina with around 600.000 inhabitants. It`s located in Lerma Valley, and it`s the gate to visit many attractions in the area. Known as Salta la Linda (“Salta the beautiful”), the city has become an important tourist destination for international travellers due to its old, colonial architecture, tourism friendliness, excellent weather and natural scenery of the valleys westward.

Day 11

HUMAHUACA CANYON: Unesco World Heritage

After breakfast, we will start one of the most important excursions in the area: the Humahuaca Canyon. It’s a harsh but vivid landscape full of incredible colorful montains and a real network of dry yet river-scoured canyons overlooked by mountains with sedimentary strata that have been eroded times by times, into unique formations revealing a wide variety of colors in waves. This incredible place was declared by Unesco as World Heritage
Through your guide’s commentary, learn about how the Incas once used this gorge as a caravan road and later as a commercial route during the colonial period.
We arrive at Purmamarca where we can enjoy watching the incredible Cerro de Los Siete Colores (Seven-Color Hill,) a large natural formation looming over the town. It´s a great chance to take a wonderful and unforgettable picture. Stroll through the streets of the small village, visiting the small church and handicrafts at the local market.

After a stop, we arrive to Tilcara, to enjoy the archaeological museum and the town square. First, stop at a scenic viewpoint on the way into town to see some pre-Incan ruins. We continue through Huacalera, to admire the colorful formation called La Pollera de la Coya, and see paintings dating from the 17th century in Uquía.
We stop in Humahuaca for a lunch (not included) and where we will visit the Monument of Independence, the local cathedral, and admire paintings from the Cuzco School.

After that, we start to return to Salta, but we will watch some incredible landscapes on the way, like La Paleta del Pintor or the Painter’s Palette, and stop in San Salvador de Jujuy. Visit the town’s cathedral and the French Baroque–style Flag’s Hall before moving on to the Government House.

Day 12

SALTA: Choose from many optionals available

After breakfast, you have free time to choose from many options available, from adventure activities, to traditional activities like Train to the Clouds (check calendar available), Cachi, Cafayate Wine Country and more. Take a look to our optionals below

SALTA: Good bye to "La Linda"

After breakfast, you have free time until your transfer to aiport or bus station if you continue to Chile. If you have time enough, you can choose an optional activity before your transfer. Check options below

SAN PEDRO DE ATACAMA: Arrival to the incredible chilean north

Arrival to Calama Airport or San Pedro bus station and transfer to San Pedro de Atacama. During the way you will see amazing colorful landscapes, passing through the Cordillera de la Sal (Salt Chain). Arrival to San Pedro and transfer to your hotel for check in. Free time. But, if you arrived early, you can choose from any of the following options which are great to start visiting the incredible north of Chile.

Day 14

SAN PEDRO DE ATACAMA: Visting Toconao, the Highland Lagoons and Atacama Salt Flat

After breakfast and early in the morning, we will start one of the most amazing excursions in the area, to enjoy unique landscapes. We leave for the Highland Miñique and Miscanti Lagoons. We will go along the road to Toconao making a brief stop to visit the main plaza and church of this small village. Thenk, we will do a a short visit to the farming village of Socaire to see some agricultural practices. After that, we will continue our tour to ascend the Andes Chain to reach the Miscanti and Meñiques Lagoons with an incredible and unique deep blue color and white shores. Be ready with your camera to take hundred of photos. This place is unique. These lagoons are located in the Los Flamencos National Reserve. Some free time for lunch in Socaire.

After lunch, we will continiue our tour, to arrive to the Atacama Salt Flat located in the Los Flamencos National Reserve. This is the largest salt deposit in Chile, and one of the most importants in South America. It was formed into a depression with no water outlet. In Chaxa Lagoon, we have an abundance of bird species, especially the well known flamingos which are a real attraction. After many additional photos and some free time to enjoy the landscape, we return to  San Pedro de Atacama to rest and go to bed early. Next day is one of the largest, starting very early in the morning.

Day 15

SAN PEDRO DE ATACAMA: Tatyo Geysers & Puritama Hot Springs

Wake up eary in the morning, for a quick breakfast and be ready around 4 am to start an incredible unique experience in the chilean north. It`s the visit to Tatyo Geysers. We have aproximetely 3 hours to arrive to the area, so arrival to the geysers would be around 7 am in the morning. We arrange a picnic breakfast there. Our guide will lead our trip to discover this geothermal field and see the incredible tatyo geysers and pools of boiling water and mud. We will have free time there to enjoy this unique place on earth.

On the way back we make a stop to visit the small shelters village of Machuca, the attractive of this place are some interesting local meals, like the home made empanadas, sopaipillas, skewers, coffee, tea or coca tea. Then, we will go to the Puritama Hot Springs. Once there, we can enjoy these warms waters that emanate from beneath the rocks and surrounding vegetation. Free time to enjoy the hot springs until return to our hotel in San Pedro de Atacama.

Day 16

SAN PEDRO DE ATACAMA: Good bye incredible north!

After breakfast, free time to enjoy San Pedro until your transfer to Calama Airport or San Pedro bus station. If you have some free time in the day, because you leave in the afternoon or evening, you can add any of our optional activities you can find below.

SANTIAGO DE CHILE: Arrival to the capital city

Arrival to Santiago Merino Airport, in Santiago de Chile. The Chilean capital has become a good choice for international business travelers, developing a reputation as a calm and clean city with a good quality of life. It`s one of the most important and populated cities in South America. Most government activities take place in Santiago’s downtown area, which is home to La Moneda (the presidential palace), Plaza de Armas, and the Judicial and Executive Branches. There are also many museums and shopping malls.Districts such as Providencia, Bellavista, Las Condes, and Vitacura offer a dazzling array of businesses, shops, and restaurants as well as a bustling nightlife.

Chile's Flag Santiago is also located near many attractions such as the beach house of poet Pablo Neruda, Isla Negra, ski resorts located around 60 km from the city, spots in the Andean foothills like Cajón del Maipo, the port of Valparaíso, which is about an hour from Santiago, and Viña del Mar and other summer resorts on the shores of the Pacific Ocean. Options for enjoying the mountains and sea are always right at your fingertips in Santiago.

Day 17

SANTIAGO DE CHILE: Enjoying the best of the capital city

After breakfast, in the morning, our guide will be waiting for us for our first visit. We will enjoy a city tour to discover one of the most modern capitals of South America.

Santiago is a cosmopolitan and vibrant capital that perfectly combines tradition and modernity. The tour will allow you to know the origins of the city and emblematic places like the Cathedral, the Post Office, the Plaza de Armas, and the famous Palacio de la Moneda, the house of the Chilean government. You will discover the traditional neighborhoods of the historic center. We visit Santa Lucía hill, called Huelén by the natives, a real urban oasis in the heart of the center. Learn more about the history of Chile and enjoy privileged views of the capital and the mountains surrounding the city. The second part of the tour will take you to the east, to see the financial area of Santiago, and watch modern buildings. Duration is around 4 hours. Return to the hotel and free time.

Day 18

SANTIAGO DE CHILE: Visiting Viña del Mar and Valparaiso

After breakfast, our guide will be waiting for you to start our visit to Viña del Mar and Valparaiso, in the direction to Chile`s coast. We drive through the country’s main wine- producing areas, so we can admire the vineyard-covered landscapes along the way which is fascinating.  We will stop to take some great photos of this important area.  Again in the route we will continue to the coastal road known as the Camino de la Pólvora, arriving at Valparaíso, considered the cultural capital of Chile and full of colors and unique views of the pier and the city over the hill. We will visit the Muelle Prat, a historic dock filled with dozens of colorful boats. From Plaza Sotomayor, the main gateway to Valparaíso from the sea, you’ll immerse yourself in the old quarter, declared by UNESCO as a World Heritage Place.

We will visit the House-Museum of Pablo Neruda, called as La Sebastiana. You’ll then reach Paseo 21 de Mayo, a natural viewpoint at the bottom of the Artillería Hill, where you’ll be able to take in a panoramic view of Valparaíso’s view from the blue sea to the city and the surrounding mountains.

Our next step is the visit to the city of Viña del Mar, whose name in Spanish means “Vineyard of the Sea”. The coastal town is also often called the Garden City, and you’ll soon see why when you visit sights such as the iconic Flower Clock on the side of Castle Hill. Free time for lunch and then, some free time to enjoy the beach, after return to your hotel in Santiago de Chile.

After breakfast, free time to enjoy the city until your transfer to the airport. If you leave the city in the afternoon or evening, you can choose any of our optional activities you can see below.
