Excursion to Tierra del Fuego National Park
We will begin the excursion by traveling part of the national route N ° 3, crossing the valley of the Rio Pipo and the slopes of Monte Susana until we reach the Austral Fueguino Railway station, one of the sectors where the inmates of the old Ushuaia prison worked collecting firewood.
After visiting the facilities, those who wish will have the possibility of taking the train tour (ticket not included). Those who do not do so will continue with our guide to enter the National Park until we reach the “Park Station”, where we will meet again with the rest of the group to continue visiting the most attractive points of the Park and its imposing landscapes. For example, we will visit Roca Lake and Lapataia Bay (where national route 3, part of the Pan-American Route, ends).
At each site, we will take short walks to appreciate the different species of the native forest and the fauna that is preserved within the southernmost National Park of Argentina.
