An amazing 3-week tour to visit Argentina and Peru!

A complete three week tour to visit the best of Argentina and Peru! The tour starts in Buenos Aires, to enjoy this unique european-style city in South America. The “Porteños” will be waiting for you to discover different places like Caminito, Boca Juniors Stadium in La Boca, San Telmo Market, Recoleta Cemetery, Colon Theatre, Puerto Madero where you can taste the unique argentinian meat with a glass of malbec wine, Palermo to enjoy the Buenos Aires`night, and more, much more. Of course, remember to enjoy a dinner tango show or take some tango lessons and learn a bit more about this incredible dance. Then, we will fly to Patagonia to discover Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world, and visit Tierra del Fuego National Park, navigate the Beagle Channel, and taste exquisite local dishes like the king crab or “centolla”. Then, we will go to El Calafate to visit the incredible Perito Moreno Glacier, and other glaciers in Los Glaciares National Park. Walk over the ice of the glacier in the called “minitrekking” and take boat navigations to visit incredible glaciers in Lake Argentino. Finally, to complete our visit in Argentina, we will visit one of the new-seven-wonders of nature: The incredible Iguazu Falls, a unique place on earth! Be ready to take hundred of photos of this incredible place.
Then, we will fly to Peru, our second country, to visit Lima first and the incredible Larco Museu, with more than 45.000 pieces of history about Inca Empire. Then, we will visit Cusco, the original capital of Peru and the Incas, from where we will enjoy and visit the Sacred Valley of the Incas, with Ollantaytambo, Pisac, Maras, Moray and more, and of course the unique citadel of Machu Picchu, UNESCO World Heritage and one of the new 7-wonders of the world. Finally, we will go to Puno, gate to visit Titicaca Lake and the Uros and Taquile Islands!

Day 1

BUENOS AIRES: Arrival to the capital city

Welcome to Buenos Aires, the capital city of Argentina and one of the most important cities in South America. After arriving at the International Airport, called Ministro Pistarini and known by the name of Ezeiza, you will be ready to enjoy the European style in the architecture, history, the unique experience of tango, great gastronomy, and the warmth of the local people called “Porteños”. You will stay 3 nights in this unique city and the first day is free to rest. But, if you`re an active person, interested in make some great activities just after arrival, take a look at our optional tours before continue reading. Day 2

BUENOS AIRES: City Tour & Dinner Tango Show

After breakfast, we will start a 4-hour city tour visiting the best of Buenos Aires. As we told you, Buenos Aires is one of the most european cities in South America, to be honest… the most. And it`s because the european influence in the architecture of the beginnings of the past century, when Argentina was the sixth country in the world…

Our tour includes different areas in the city. We will enjoy La Boca, one of the most famous places, that includes Caminito and Boca Juniors Stadium called “La Bombonera”. Of course, we will visit San Telmo, another traditional place in Buenos Aires. Please note, on sundays the famous San Telmo fair will be opened where you can find many interesting antiques.

Our tour also includes the visit to the traditional Plaza de Mayo, with the Government House called “Casa Rosada”, the Cabildo, the Cathedral, and all the history around this emblematic square. We will see the Obelisk and 9 de Julio Avenue. Then, Colon Theatre, one of the most important opera houses in the world. You can take a guided visit if you want, but it`s important to buy tickets in advance. Check with us about this optional activity with more details.

This tour will allow us to get to know other areas of the city, like neighborhoods of Recoleta, Palermo and Puerto Madero, a renovated dockside area with a rich gastronomy offer, where you can finalize your tour and enjoy a great lunch and taste the local gastronomy.

After this tour, you`re free to enjoy the city at your own. There are many activities to do, like the visit to Colon Theatre with Walking Tour, or the excursion to Tigre Delta.

In the evening, you can enjoy some optional tours, like an amazing Tango Show, or a Buenos Aires by night activity before return to your hotel and rest for our next trip tomorrow. Check our options below.

Day 3

BUENOS AIRES: Enjoying the countryside. Visit to an estancia in the Pampas

After breakfast, we will start our tour to the Pampas, to visit one of the traditional estancias or farms. It`s one of the classic visits you can enjoy during your stay in Buenos Aires. usually called “Fiesta Gaucha” and where we will make activities associated with the local traditions, like the typical “Asado Criollo”, an unforgettable horse riding, and the traditional folklore show. After lunch which is included of course, we will enjoy some gaucho demonstration with horses, in activities called Carreras de Sortijas.

Return to the hotel is around 5 pm, and you have some free time for rest, or may be enjoy some of our optional activities available below. We`re ready to help you

Day 4

BUENOS AIRES: Good bye to the big city

After breakfast, free time until transfer to the local airport to take flight or to pier to take boat to our next destination.

USHUAIA: Arrival to the end of the world

Welcome to Ushuaia, well known as the southernmost city in the world, and gate to many different cruises visiting Cape Horn and Antarctica. After arrival, our guide will be waiting for your transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day is free, but depending your arrival timming, you can enjoy some of our optional activities. Day 5

USHUAIA: Tierra del Fuego National Park and Beagle Channel Navigation

After breakfast, we will start our first visit. Tierra del Fuego National Park is located only 12 km from Ushuaia and it`s a very natural environment to be enjoyed. When you arrive you can buy tickets to one of the main attractions in the area: the Train of the End of The World. The train is optional and you can see details below. After that, an

d once in the park, you are going to see different species of trees in a very characteristic forest, something as bushes, beech trees, ñires, Indio’s beard and flowers in an extension of 63.000 hectares. Of course, we will stop many times during our visit to enjoy the panoramic views and take great photos.

From there, we are going to go to Verde Lake and then to Lapataia Bay, places where you could see beaver dams and peatlands. On our way back, we will stop on Lake Roca called also Acigami, to take our last photos of the national park. Return to Ushuaia city will be around 13:30 hs and you have some free time for lunch. Let me suggest the unique King Crab, or taste the incredible Patagonic Lamb!

After lunch and in the afternoon, just walk to the port located few steps from the centre, to embark in a cathamaran to enjoy the Beagle Channel. This navigation towards the Sea Lions Island, Birds Island and the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse. We will see a colony of sea lions and Imperial Cormorants among other birds.

Heading back to the city, you can enjoy the panoramic views of Ushuaia city and the mountains. Return is around 5.30 pm depending the season. Free time and overnight

Day 6

USHUAIA: A variety of options to choose

Today, we keep the day free for you, but there are many options to choose: You can visit Fagnano and Escondido Lakes, enjoy an incredible trekking to Laguna Esmeralda, or enjoy a wonderful 4×4 ride to the heart of the island

Day 7

USHUAIA: Good bye to the end of the world

After breakfast, free time until tranfser out to airport for your flight to next destination. If you have time in the morning, you can enjoy some of the optionals below. Say goodby to Ushuaia, the city of the end of the world…

EL CALAFATE: Arrival to the gate to the glaciers

Arrive at El Calafate, one of the most important destinations in Patagonia because it`s the gate to visit Perito Moreno and many other glaciers in the area. After check-in, you have free time, but if you`re an active person, you can choose any of the available options that can be added to your arrival day. Check options below

Day 8

EL CALAFATE: The incredible Perito Moreno Glacier

After breakfast, we will start our visit to one of the highlights of Patagonia: the incredible Perito Moreno Glacier.

El Calafate is located 80 km from Perito Moreno Glacier, along a 50 km paved road. The last 30 are within Los Glaciares National Park.
During the first 40 km you travel through the Patagonian steppe which is very typical in the area, but once you enter the National Park there is a real change in the vegetation, now  formed by ñires (nothofagus antartica), guindos (nothofagus betuloides) and lengas (nothofagus pumilio); also some isolated canelos (drimys winteri) and many-colored flowers, among them the intense red-colored notro (embothrium coccineum), the typical flower of the Andean Patagonian forest.

Once at the Glacier, the visitor is overwhelmed by the impressive spectacle and can appreciate the many unforgettable vistas of the glacier from the walk paths. You will have free time to enjoy this show. You can see enormous blocks of ice falling into the lake with a thunderous crash. It`s an amazing show of nature. There is a restaurant, a snack bar, restrooms and a pay campsite within the Moreno Glacier area.

You can choose some good options that can be added to the visit, like the mini trekking to walk over the ice of the glacier or the Nautical Safari which is navigation to see the glacier from the lake. Take a look at this option below

This is a full-day excursion. Return to the hotel is late in the afternoon.

Day 9

EL CALAFATE: Free day. Choice of activities!

After breakfast, we keep this day free, so you can choose one of the full day boat navigations available, to visit different glaciers in Los Glaciares National Park. Take a look at the different options available below.

Day 10

EL CALAFATE: Transfer out to the airport

After breakfast, you have some free time until transfer to airport or bus station to continue your trip. If you leaves in the afternoon, you can choose an interesting optional activity from our list below.

IGUAZU FALLS: Arrival to Iguazu & check in

Arrival to Iguazu (Puerto Iguazu or Foz do Iguaçu, depending your flight). It`s the gate to visit one of the most incredible shows of nature in South America and the world! Yes, Iguazu Falls was recently declared as one of the new 7-wonders of nature and it`s a UNESCO World Heritage. And of course, a must-see when you visit Argentina or Brazil.
After arrival, we will transfer you to the hotel for check in and rest. Free time to enjoy the pool, or walk the city at your own.

Day 11

IGUAZU FALLS: The Argentinian Side. Enjoying the falls

After breakfast, we will start one of the best excursions you can do in Argentina. Iguazu Falls is a unique place in the world, with all the magic of nature.  The guide will transfer to to the Parque Nacional Iguazu, located in the argentinian side. The park is amazing, and offers up to 8 kilometers of trails to enjoy the falls, basically in three different circuits called Upper Circuit, Lower Circuit and the Trail to the incredible Devil`s Throat with the Ecological Train of the Jungle. The Devil`s Throat is a set of 80 meters high waterfalls that flow into a narrow gorge, which concentrates the largest flow of the Iguazú Falls, being in turn these waterfalls the largest flow in the world. The show is unique and amazing!

Day 12

IGUAZU FALLS: The Brazilian Side, a unique panoramic view of the falls

After breakfast, we will start our visit to the brazilian side of the falls. The park is called Parque Nacional do Iguaçu and the visit is basically a bus ride to enjoy the jungle, and finally a wonderful panoramic view of the falls, along the 1500 mts trail and the elevator. The landscape is unique, so be ready with your camera to take hundred of unforgettable photos!
It`s a half day tour that can be combined with any of the optional activities like the Parque Das Aves (Bird`s Park), or the visit to Itaipu Dam. And you also can add some adventure activities during your visit. Check optionals below.

Day 13

IGUAZU FALLS: Good bye to the falls

After breakfast, free time until transfer to local aiprort to take flight to your next destination.

LIMA: Arrival to the capital city

Welcome to Lima, welcome to Peru! After arrival to international airport, tranfser to your hotel. You have free time to enjoy the city at your own, or take any of the optional activities available. Check our list below.

Day 14

LIMA: city tour and Larco Museum

After breakfast, we will start the visit to the modern and colonial part of Lima, called the city of the Kings. We will start with the districts of Miraflores and San Isidro, where you will make a panoramic visit of the impressive Huaca Huallamarca. Then, we will go directly to the Historical Center, to visit the Convent of Santo Domingo, declared UNESCO Cultural Heritage of Humanity and where the remains of our patron saints San Martín de Porres and Santa Rosa de Lima lie. Then, we will go to visit the Plaza Mayor, which is surrounded by the Government Palace, the Archbishop’s Palace, the Municipality and the Cathedral. Finally, we will make a stop for a small tasting of the typical Pisco Sour!  After the tour, we will visit the Larco Museum, which houses the unsurpassed private collection of Treasures of Ancient Peru. This collection inspires the visitors, to discover and  understand more than 5000 years of history of Ancient Peru through more than 45,000 pieces! Amazing isn`t it?

Then, return to the hotel and free time. You can add any of the optional activities available below.

Day 15

LIMA: good bye!

CUSCO: Arrival and visit the city

After arrival, check in in your hotel in Cusco. If you arrived in the morning, some free time to rest. Then, we will start a half day visit to the incredible city of Cusco. We will enjoy some incredible places in this ancient city: Korikancha Temple, the local Cathedral, Sacsayhuamán, Kenko and Puca-Pucará ruins.
It`s a visit to the imperial city, a living example of the mix of Andean and Spanish culture in the Americas. The tour begins at the Koricancha Temple, the ancient Inca palace and main center for the worship of the Sun God. Be ready to take some great photos of this incredible place.  Then, you will visit the Plaza de Armas, where you will visit the Cathedral. Make a stop at the Mirador San Cristóbal, from where you will enjoy a beautiful view of the city. Continue ascending to the Sacsayhuaman Fortress, an imposing example of Inca military architecture that dominates the city. Then, you will visit the archaeological sites of Kenko, enjoy the panoramic view of the Puca-Pucara archaeological complex. Finally, you will visit the Inka’s Expression art workshop, which presents artists working in silver, paint and wood; ideal visit to understand Andean art.

Return to the hotel and free time to rest. Overnight.

Day 16

CUSCO-SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS: Ollantaytambo and Racchi

After breakfast, we will start our second day of visits in the area. We will start visiting Chinchero, a small and picturesque town that houses an important Inca archaeological center built at the end of the 15th century, as well as a beautiful and traditional church. Free time to enjoy this unique place. Then, on the way to Ollantaytambo, we will stop at the Racchi viewpoint, where you will have some of the best views of the Sacred Valley. Amazing! Free time for lunch. You can taste some typical dishes of the Sacred Valley and taste a pisco!. Continue to Ollantaytambo, one of the most representative architectural complexes of the ancient Inca Empire and one of the few places where the Spanish conquerors lost an important battle. Well known for its platforms, Ollantaytambo was a very effective fortress that also served as a temple. Finally, continue to the town of Ollantaytambo, known as “the only living Inca city”; It is the best existing example of Inca urban planning, with stone streets that have been inhabited since the 12th century.
Overnight is in the Sacred Valley today.

Day 17

SACRED VALLEY - MACHU PICCHU: Visiting a unique place on earth

After breakfast, we will start one of the most incredible visits you can do in Peru and South America. We will visit Machu Picchu

Early in the morning and after breakfast, we will transfer you to the train station. Be ready today, to visit one of the world’s most famous landmarks: the citadel of Machu Picchu. The excursion begins on board the train to approximate to the area of Aguas Calientes.  Upon your arrival in Aguas Calientes, you will begin your ascent to Machu Picchu, where, surely, you will live one of the most unforgettable experiences you can have in South America. Once there, you can walk through every corner of one of the Seven Wonders of the world, accompanied by an expert guide, and enjoy free time to explore the area. At the appropriate time, you will descend to the town of Aguas Calientes and later board the return train to Cusco, via the Ollantaytambo station. Upon your arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel and overnight

CUSCO: Good bye Cusco, Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu!

After breakfast, free time until transfer to bus station or airport.

CUSCO to PUNO: the incredible route to Puno

After breakfast, transfer to the bus station to start a trip to Puno. On the way you will enjoy the wonderful landscapes of the Southern Valley of Cusco. First visit Andahuaylillas, where you will find a beautiful church of the XXVII century, with an impressive organ decorated with angels and cherubs. Then you will visit the ruins of Racchi – also known as “The Temple of the Wiracocha God” – those that have different areas that were used for different purposes. At the end of this visit, you will enjoy a delicious and typical lunch buffet at a local restaurant. After this you will know the archaeological site of Puca-Pucara, a military construction that also functioned as an administrative center. Arrival to Puno and transfer to your hotel

Day 19

TITICACA LAKE: Visiting Uros and Taquile Islands

After breakfast, and in the morning we will enjoy a tour to visit the unique Titicaca Lake. We will go to Taquile Island, where the community kindly welcomes tourists, keeping alive their traditions, customs, and colorful clothing in the old-fashioned style. The islanders are skilled artisans and capture in each work surprising techniques developed over centuries by their ancestors. Then visit the floating islands of the Uros, also called the Town of the Lake, because these islands are built with layers of totora and serve as homes and trading centers for the natives of the same name who are mobilized in rafts built by hand.

The Titicaca Lake is a large and deep lake in the Andes, and the highest navigable lake in the world.
