The city is also the location of one of the country’s most vibrant and disputed carnival parties.

Arrival to Salvador de Bahia, one of the most important cities in Brazil, and the first colonial city in the country. Brazil’s first capital preserves an important historical city center, listed as Unesco’s Cultural Heritage Site: the Pelourinho, which gives the visitor the opportunity to visit Brazilian Baroque Churches and century-old manors. There are more than 300 churches in Salvador. One of them is São Francisco Church, recognized by its grandiosity. You will discover the Capoeira, that`s a martial art that looks like a dance. The city is also the location of one of the country’s most vibrant and disputed carnival parties. After arrival, transfer to your hotel and free time. After breakfast, we will start the visit to the city. After pick up, we will start visiting Farol da Barra, one of the most beautiful scenery in Salvador and where one of the best carnival in the country starts. Then we will go to the historic center, where we will visit Pelourinho and take a walk through one of the Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Be ready to take many photos, it`s a very colorful place. After some free time for lunch, we will visit the lower city to see the Lacerda Elevator, tie your ribbon at Bonfim Church and take a little bit of Bahia to your home when visiting the Mercado Modelo. It`s a half day tour.
