RIO DE JANEIRO: Corcovado and Christ the Redeemer

After breakfast, we’ll embark on our second tour of Rio de Janeiro, featuring the iconic Christ the Redeemer Statue, recently named one of the new Seven Wonders of the World. It remains a top attraction, drawing over 300,000 visitors each year. From the summit, you’ll enjoy panoramic views of downtown Rio and the southern area, perfect for memorable photos.

Following our visit to the statue, we’ll explore Tijuca Forest, a natural boundary that divides the city. This park boasts over 3,000 plant species, hundreds of bird varieties, and remarkable biodiversity. Without the forest, the city’s temperature might rise by approximately two degrees Celsius. The tour includes Corcovado Mountain, Christ the Redeemer, Tijuca Forest, the Chinese View, Taunay’s Waterfalls, and the Visitor Center.

Return to the hotel and enjoy free time for lunch. As this is another half-day trip, you can relax on the beach or consider adding some of our optional tours for a delightful afternoon and evening with interesting dinners and shows.
