ITINERARY DAY BY DAY

Upon arrival, reception by our representatives and transfer to hotel. Documentation kit, detailed program explanation and assistance with luggage and hotel registration. In the afternoon, visit the city to see its most important architectural icons such as the Plaza Mayor or Checkerboard of Pizarro, where we see the Government Palace, the City Hall, the Cathedral and Archbishop’s Palace. Continue to visit the Convent of Santo Domingo, jewel XVI century architecture. Road to the modern area of the city, cross the exclusive district of San Isidro, new financial heart of the city, to appreciate Huallamarca. Finally, we conclude our circuit in Miraflores, where we visit the Parque del Amor, excellent spot to enjoy a splendid view of the Pacific Ocean. Drop in Larcomar or hotel. Overnight in Lima

Early morning, transfer to the bus station to board the special bus service to Paracas (4 hrs. Approx.). Arrival and assistance. Transfer to the airfield Pisco to board the plane and enjoy the flight over the incredible Nazca Lines, located in the plains of the same name. Here you can see the many geoglyphs, figures representing stylized animals and plants, which are distributed in a huge labyrinth of lines, trapezoids, triangles and spirals recorded over the land and preserved for almost 2,000 years.

Early departure to the port where our boat excursion begins nearly two hours to the Ballestas Islands, located off the coast of the Paracas National Reserve, the largest natural sanctuary of our coasts. These two beautiful islands are home to thousands of migratory birds who share their habitat with restless colonies of sea lions. During the trip, you will appreciate a mysterious design on the side of a hill, called “The Chandelier”. At the scheduled time, return by bus to the city of Lima. Arrival and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Lima.

At the scheduled time, transfer to the airport to take your flight to Cusco. Arrival, reception by our collaborators and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the morning free to relax and adjust to the height. In the afternoon, we will enjoy our visit to the impressive colonial city built on the foundations of Inca palaces, around the streets of the neighborhood of San Blas and the stone of 12 angles in the Hatun Rumiyoq Street; the Koricancha or the Temple of the Sun where we can appreciate the fine work that the Incas performed on the stone, if it were a sculpture; the Cathedral with its delicate works of carved wood and impressive altars. We will finish by visiting the Inca Museum, also known as the Casa del Almirante, which was built on Inca foundations and which today houses a comprehensive collection of ceramics, textiles and Inca gold as well as an important example of colonial Cuzco school painting. Overnight in Cusco. Meals included: breakfast.

We will drive towards the Sacred Valley of the Incas, surrounded by the Urubamba river. Along the way, stop at Awana Kancha where you will discover the beauty of the South American camelids: guanacos, llamas, vicuñas and alpacas of unique species, and an exhibition of traditional Andean textile art. Then, walk along the colorful market of Pisac, where we can appreciate a mixture of colour, tradition and local people exhibiting typical products, craftsmanship in silver, alpaca and ceramics. Lunch at a local restaurant, to continue with the tour to Ollantaytambo, the oldest continuously occupied settlement in the Americas, its narrow streets and canals have not changed since inca times. In it, the fortress of Ollantaytambo, archaeological complex with terraces and walls carved in stone with a dazzling technique is observed. Overnight in Sacred Valley. Meals included: Breakfast and lunch.

You will visit one of the most important energy centers in the world: Machu Picchu. The excursion is done by train and during the tour we will have an amazing view of the landscape of the Sacred Valley of Urubamba. Upon arrival to Aguas Calientes, our staff will assist you to board the bus that will take you to the Citadel. It will be an unforgettable experience, where a professional guide will transmit us the history surrounding this mysterious and charming place. After the guided tour, you will enjoy free time to explore the area on your own, relax or meditate. When appropriate, descent to the town of Aguas Calientes. Included buffet-style lunch. In the afternoon, it will address the train back to Cusco. Upon arrival, our collaborators will await at the station, from where we’ll
move to your hotel. Overnight in Cusco.
