After breakfast, you’ll transfer to the bus station to begin your journey to Puno. Enjoy the stunning landscapes of the Southern Valley of Cusco along the way. Your first stop is Andahuaylillas, where you’ll visit a beautiful 17th-century church, renowned for its impressive organ adorned with angels and cherubs. Next, explore the ruins of Raqchi, also known as “The Temple of Wiracocha,” which served various purposes across its different areas. Following this visit, savor a delicious buffet lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, head to the archaeological site of Puca-Pucara, a military and administrative center. Finally, arrive in Puno and transfer to your hotel.
After breakfast, embark on a morning tour to the unique Lake Titicaca. First, visit Taquile Island, where the welcoming community preserves its traditional customs, colorful clothing, and artisanal skills. The islanders produce intricate crafts using techniques passed down through generations. Next, explore the floating islands of the Uros, also known as the Town of the Lake. These islands, built from layers of totora reeds, serve as homes and trading centers for the Uros people, who navigate in hand-built rafts.
