Day 1

RIO DE JANEIRO

Arrive at Rio de Janeiro airport and transfer to your hotel. Rio de Janeiro was founded in 1565 and it´s one of the most incredible cities you can visit in South America. The warmth of its people, the colorful culture, the incredible beaches, and the landscapes, makes Rio a must-see on your trip to South America. After arrival at the hotel, free time to rest. If you are an active person and arrived early, you can choose any of the following activities available. Take a look at the list below

Day 2

RIO DE JANEIRO: City Tour with Sugar Loaf

After breakfast, and in the morning, we will start our first visit to the incredible Cidade Maravilhosa, in Portuguese Wonderful City. Tour starts with unique panoramic views of the beaches. One of the first stops is the Metropolitan Cathedral, where we will stop for some good photos and learn a bit more about the history of the city. Then, we will go directly to take the cable car to enjoy the Sugar Loaf, an icon of the city. Be ready with your camera to take unique panoramic landscapes of Guanabara Bay and surrounding beaches. You also can see Niteroi and Santa Cruz Fortress from there, and the local beaches of Botafogo and Flamengo. After enjoying the hill for about 45 minutes, we will continue with our trip. We will cross the Santa Barbara tunnel, to see downtown Rio and then go directly to the Sambodromo, a special place that holds the Carnival, the most important event in Rio every year.

Return to our hotel and free time for lunch. It´s a half-day excursion, so you can choose any of the activities listed below to enjoy the afternoon and evening in Rio de Janeiro.

Day 3

RIO DE JANEIRO: Corcovado and Christ the Redeemer

After breakfast, we will start our second visit to Rio de Janeiro. The main attraction is the incredible Christ the Redeemer Statue, declared recently as one of the new seven wonders of the world. It´s located at the top of the Corcovado mountain, which was named for its shape, due to its narrow summit. The statue of Christ the Redeemer was built in 1926 and was a really big challenge for the engineers. It is the most popular attraction of Corcovado mountain and one of the must-sees in Rio de Janeiro. Corcovado and Christ the Redeemer bring over 300,000 visitors every year. From the peak’s platform, the panoramic view includes downtown Rio, as well as the south area. Be ready to take excellent photos from there

After visiting the statue, we will continue our tour to visit Tijuca Forest. It is a natural boundary that splits the city in two. The park has over 3000 species of plants, and hundreds of bird types, and great biodiversity. Without the park, the city temperature would probably increase around two degrees celsius. In general, the tour includes a visit to Corcovado mountain, the statue of Christ the Redeemer, the Tijuca Forest, the Chinese View, the Taunay`s Waterfalls, and the Visitor Center.

Return to your hotel and free time for lunch. Again, it´s a half-day trip so you can enjoy the beach on your own, or maybe add some of our optional tours and enjoy Rio de Janeiro during the afternoon and also in the evening with some interesting dinners and shows.

Day 4

RIO DE JANEIRO: Good bye cidade maravilhosa!

After breakfast, free time until your transfer to the airport. If your flight leaves in the afternoon or also in the evening, you can add some interesting optional activities from the list below.

SAO PAULO: Arrival to the commercial heart of Brazil

Welcome to Sao Paulo. Arrival to the airport and transfer to the hotel. This incredible metropolis is the most populous city in Brazil, the Americas, the Western Hemisphere and the Southern Hemisphere. Amazing isn`t it? Furthermore, the city is the capital of the surrounding state of São Paulo, the most populous and wealthiest state in Brazil. It exerts strong international influences in commerce, finance, arts and entertainment. After arrival, free time for relax, or take any of the optional activities available. Overnight

Day 5

SAO PAULO: Visiting the city

After breakfast, we will start the visit to this incredible metropoli in Brazil. We will picl you up from your hotel and visit the Parque Ibirapuera a green place that offers respite from the urban madness among cool, shady trees and mentally-stimulating structures. Running trails, bike paths, and yoga and capoeira sessions let locals and visitors alike keep fit, while a clutch of museums and galleries — such as the museums of Modern and Contemporary Art, all designed by master Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer — gives the brain a good workout. The impressive Museu Afro Brasil and fiery Auditório Ibirapuera are two of the park’s treasures. We will stop at the Museum of Contemporary Art for people interested in visiting this place. Then, we will go to see the Catedral da Se, do Sao Paulo, enjoy the Monument to the Bandeiras, and go to  Farol Santander which is one of the highest buildings in Sao Paulo with a magnificent 360 degrees viewpoint at the top. We will continue with the Estacao da Luz, and the Municipal Market of Sao Paulo, where we will stop for 40 minutes.

It`s a half day trip. Finally, return to the hotel and free afternoon.

 

Day 6

SAO PAULO: Options to choose

After breakfast, the day is free for you, to take an option from the wide variety of activities available. From walking tours, to visit to different museums, or take an ecotour to Jaragua Forest Reserve, or take architecture tours, or gastronomy tours, or something else. Check options below

Day 7

SAO PAULO: Good bye big metropoli!

After breakfast, free time until transfer to airport. If you have some free time in the morning, you can take any of the optional activities available. Check our list below

SALVADOR DE BAHIA: Arrival to Bahia!

Arrival to Salvador de Bahia, one of the most important cities in Brazil, and the first colonial city in the country. Brazil’s first capital preserves an important historical city center, listed as Unesco’s Cultural Heritage Site: the Pelourinho, which gives the visitor the opportunity to visit Brazilian Baroque Churches and century-old manors. There are more than 300 churches in Salvador. One of them is São Francisco Church, recognized by its grandiosity. You will discover the Capoeira, that`s a martial art that looks like a dance. The city is also the location of one of the country’s most vibrant and disputed carnival parties. After arrival, transfer to your hotel and free time. If you want, you can take any of the optional activities below.

Day 8

SALVADOR DE BAHIA: Visiting the city

After breakfast, we will start the visit to the city. After pick up, we will start visiting Farol da Barra, one of the most beautiful scenery in Salvador and where one of the best carnival in the country starts.  Then we will go to the historic center, where we will visit Pelourinho and take a walk through one of the Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Be ready to take many photos, it`s a very colorful place. After some free time for lunch, we will visit the lower city to see the Lacerda Elevator, tie your ribbon at Bonfim Church and take a little bit of Bahia to your home when visiting the Mercado Modelo.  It`s a half day tour. Return to the hotel and free time. You can choose from options available in our optional list

 

Day 9

SALVADOR DE BAHIA: Choose from many options!

After breakfast, free time to enjoy the city at your own, or choose any of the activities available. Check our list below, you can visit Morro do Sao Paulo, Chapada Diamantina, or take a boat navigation to the tropical islands and Itaparica. There are many options available in our list below

Day 10

SALVADOR DE BAHIA: Good bye Salvador!

After breakfast, free time until transfer to airport. If you have some free time before leaving the city, you can choose any of the alternative activities available below.
