Arrive in Mendoza City, the capital of Mendoza Province and gateway to the stunning High Andes. Mendoza is also renowned for its wine, particularly the unique Malbec, and boasts numerous wineries and vineyards in the Luján de Cuyo, Maipú, and surrounding areas. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your hotel and have some free time to rest. For those who enjoy staying active, a variety of optional activities are available. After breakfast, we’ll embark on a full day of exploration, starting with a city tour in the morning. We’ll visit the old city, where Mendoza was founded, and explore key landmarks including Alameda, the downtown area, the Civic Center, General San Martín Park, Cerro de la Gloria hill, Mundialista Stadium, and the Frank Romero Day Amphitheater, the central stage of the renowned “Fiesta de la Vendimia.”
After some free time for lunch, we’ll spend the afternoon visiting the vineyards and wineries in the region. The wine tour will take you through the Mendoza oasis and grape-growing areas, with many vineyards located in Luján de Cuyo and its surroundings. We’ll visit traditional vinicultural farms, where you’ll have the opportunity to sample their exquisite products. Be prepared to purchase some bottles of the finest Malbec! We’ll also stop by the Carrodilla Church, home to the patron saint of vineyards, who shares the church’s name. Return to the city for the night.

After breakfast, we’ll set out on one of Mendoza’s most scenic excursions. The High Andes route offers breathtaking views of the mountains and their rich landscapes. Traveling along International Route Nº 7, we’ll admire the stunning panoramas in Potrerillos and Uspallata. Our journey will continue to the Los Penitentes ski center (open during the winter season) and to Puente del Inca, where you can marvel at its incredible geological formations and enjoy the hot thermal waters (2720 m.a.s.l.).
We’ll then visit the “Mirador del Cerro Aconcagua” on the international route to get the best view of Aconcagua, the highest peak in the Americas (6962 m.a.s.l.). Our excursion will conclude in Las Cuevas, the last Argentine town before the Chilean border. Note: The Redeeming Christ Monument is accessible only from January to March, with the appropriate approvals. Return to Mendoza for the night.
After breakfast, enjoy some free time until your transfer to the airport. If your flight is in the afternoon, you have the option to select from additional activities. Check the list below for options.
