Half-Day Christ the Redeemer by Van & City Tour
Start your morning with pick-up from hotels in Copacabana, Leme, Ipanema, or Leblon. The tour starts at 8:30 AM and lasts approximately 3 hours. Travelers using the main meeting point should arrive at C2Rio Concierge, Hotel Hilton Copacabana, Av. Atlântica 1020, Copacabana, at 8:20 AM and look for the C2Rio staff inside the hotel.
From Copacabana, travel by van to Christ the Redeemer, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, located at the top of Corcovado Mountain. The route passes through the Tijuca Forest, one of the largest urban forests in the world, before opening onto panoramic views of Rio de Janeiro.
At the top, enjoy Brazil’s most famous landmark and a 360-degree view of the city from 710 meters above sea level.
After visiting Christ the Redeemer, return through Santa Teresa, a famous hillside neighborhood known for its narrow cobblestone streets, cultural atmosphere, and iconic yellow tram.
Continue to Lapa, one of Rio’s most traditional nightlife areas, known for the Carioca Aqueduct, before reaching the colorful Selarón Steps, one of the city’s main attractions.
The tour ends with return transportation to Copacabana.
