This region is a must-see in Argentina, filled with colorful scenery, rich culture, and plenty to do year-round. But let’s break down the best time to go.

Weather Overview:

Temperatures are pleasant most of the year.
Best time to visit: April to October (dry season)
Rainy season: November to March, with 10–16 rainy days per month

If you’re looking to avoid rain and enjoy sunny days, aim for April to September. But honestly, Salta and the Northwest can be enjoyed year-round.

And what about the rain? Well, the best season in order to avoid rains is April/May to October. During November to March, you may experience the most amount of rainy days. Check the image below:
