What to do in Ibera Wetlands?

If you decided to arrive to Ibera Wetlands, I`m sure you are a nature lover. This amazing place covers and area of 13.000 square kilometers, with  wamps, lagoons, lakes, and bogs with the most diverse array of wildlife in the country. It`s an amazing place. There are an incredible diversity of fauna, so you can expect to see alligators, deers, giant otter, countless capybara or even anaconda and monkeys. It`s a wonderful place for bird watching, with more than 350 different species!

If you want to explore at your own, you can rent a kayak. Obviously, you won’t see as much wildlife this way, but it’s still a nice experience for those who really wish to get away from it all. If you really want to see the fauna, you have to book an excursion with guide, and see the amazing fauna by boat. These small boats (called lanchas) tours takes aproximately 1:30 to 2:00 hours, and you will be surprised to see an incredible numbers of animals and very close. Be ready to take unique photos! There are some self guided trails too, to visit the reserva provincial.
Another great alternative is to take a horseback riding tour through the forests and swamps that are scattered throughout the park. You have to book this activity with a local guide which means they are suitable for both expert and beginner riders alike.

You can rent kayaks and enjoy the incredible marshes, you will see the incredible caimans very close! It`s an amazing experience. You also will see capibaras, birds and some snakes. There are some guided tours, but you can explore the marshes at your own if you want.
