Fly over Rio de Janeiro, one of the most beautiful cities in the world, with a professional pilot.
Arrive at So Conrado beach to meet your instructor, register with the Brazilian Free Flight Confederation, and listen to the safety briefing after being picked up from your hotel at the appointed hour. Next, drive up to Pedra Bonita Ramp, a 520-meter (1,700-foot) tall structure inside Tijuca National Park, one of the world’s largest urban forests, where the takeoff place is located.
Once you and your pilot are off the ground, take a moment to enjoy and take in the amazing scenery of the mountains, the ocean, the beaches, the buildings, and the roads. On your 7–15 minute flight, look for landmarks, including Guanabara Bay, Sugarloaf Mountain, and the Christ Redeemer Statue. Land at São Conrado beach to complete. After landing, get your high-definition pictures and videos. You can stay at the beach for a little longer or ask your pilot for assistance in arranging transportation back to the hotel.
