A Journey to the Colors of the Andes
We begin early in the morning with a hotel pick-up, traveling to Cusipata. Here, you can take in the scenic beauty of the Andes before continuing to Phulawasipata, the trailhead for our trek.
The uphill path offers spectacular natural sights, including herds of llamas and alpacas grazing along the slopes and the awe-inspiring snow-capped peak of Apu Ausangate. You’ll also have the chance to interact with local community members and observe their daily work in potato fields.
After approximately an hour and a half of hiking, we arrive at Vinicunca, also known as the Rainbow Mountain. At 5,020 m.a.s.l., the view is a kaleidoscope of vibrant colors, caused by the unique mineral composition of the soil.
Take your time to enjoy and capture this magical moment with your camera before we descend back to Phulawasipata. The journey concludes with a delicious traditional lunch in Cusipata before heading back to Cusco.

If you cancel the service or do not show up, an additional 18% VAT will be charged on the corresponding service fees.
After booking and finalizing payment, you will receive a confirmation for your purchase. Then, in less than 24 hours, you will receive the voucher that you can use to take the excursions.
If the reservation is for the next day, we will be attentive and we will send you the voucher before your excursion begins.
Comfortable trekking shoes, layers for changing weather, sunscreen, and a camera are essential.
The best time to visit is during the dry season, from April to December. Visits between January and March are not recommended due to the rainy season.

Once you’ve completed your booking and payment, you’ll receive a confirmation of your purchase. Within 24 hours, you’ll receive the voucher you’ll need to participate in the excursions.
