Arriving to Santiago de Chile by air

The local airport in Santiago de Chile is, the Comodoro Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport, Santiago’s main international airport and the gateway for many visitors to Chile. The airport is also called Aeropuerto de Pudahuel, and the Iata code for the airport is SCL. The Arturo Merino Benitez is located 17 km from the city centre. There are taxi services, private shuttles available, buses and also Uber services from the airport to the city centre. There is no metro connection with the airport.  You also can rent a car and drive at your own to the centre.

 

Arriving to Santiago de Chile by land

You can arrive to  Santiago de Chile by land, via car or bus. There are many options to arrive by bus from Mendoza (Argentina), crossing the Andes, and of course from many different cities in Chile. You also can arrive in a rented car.

You may be arrive to Valparaiso Pier, in a cruise line after many of the available cruises visiting South America. Valparaiso is located 115 km from Santiago, and you can arrive via bus service, or rent a car of course and drive 1:30 hs aprox to arrive to Santiago city centre.
