The Lakes Crossing activity is a wonderful way to connect Argentina and Chile (or vice-versa) crossing the Andes by lake. Yes, the Lakes Crossing is definitely the best way to link Bariloche and Puerto Varas, or vice-versa and visit both sides of the Lakes District, a place full of mountains, forests, lakes, mountains, national parks, and a perfect place to enjoy some great adventure activities like rafting, mountain bike, rappel, canopy, horseback riding, kayak, paragliding and more.

Lakes Crossing. When is available? What about my lugagge? Are trasfers included?

The Lakes Crossing operates every day of the year from Chile to Argentina. From Argentina to Chile it operates every day of the year, with the exception of the 1st of May.
Throughout the journey, our company takes care of your luggage, which will be duly protected in special containers. It's important to mention that you will hand your luggage over at the beginning of the journey and it will remain in storage until we reach our destination. Therefore, you must be sure to carry all travel documents with you in your hand luggage.
What about pick up and drop off? Are these services included with the Lakes Crossing? Well, our itinerary considers the pickup of passengers from the main hotels in Puerto Varas and Bariloche. If the hotel you've reserved is not on our route, you must find your own way to our sales offices in Puerto Varas and Bariloche.

 

Lakes Crossing: itineraries

With the Lakes Crossing, you can go from Bariloche to Puerto Varas, or in reverse from Puerto Varas to Bariloche. And you can do it in a full day, or in two amazing days with an overnight in the middle of the route, to enjoy nature and some adventure activities. Arriving to Chile in just one day, you have the option of extending your trip to two days or more with accommodation at the midway point in Puella and/or Puerto Blest.
