Get ready for a journey through time as you leave Buenos Aires behind and travel across the RÃo de la Plata toward the charming town of Colonia del Sacramento. After an early pick-up from your hotel, you’ll be taken to the ferry terminal to board the boat that will carry you to Uruguay.
Once you arrive in Colonia, your guide will lead you through the city’s iconic sites. This includes the Rambla Costanera, where the riverfront views are perfect for a first impression; the Real de San Carlos, with its historical bullring; and the Iglesia de San Benito, set among local neighborhoods.
The highlight of the tour is a walking tour through the Historic Quarter, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1995. Wander through the cobbled streets, including the famous Calle de los Suspiros, and admire the contrast between Portuguese urban layout and Spanish colonial influence.
In the afternoon, enjoy some free time to stroll or grab a snack before returning by ferry to Buenos Aires. Your transfer will be waiting at the port to take you back to your hotel.
