Tropical Paradise & Telegraph Rock Trail
Start the morning with pick-up from your hotel in Rio’s South Zone or Downtown area. The pick-up window is between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM, depending on your location.
Once you reach Barra, continue along the coast in a Jeep, with the top down when weather conditions allow. The route follows some of Rio’s scenic coastal areas, including Barra, Recreio dos Bandeirantes, Prainha, and Grumari, before circling the mountain toward the beginning of the trail.
From there, begin a guided moderate hike to Telegraph Rock. The hike and exploration time lasts approximately 2.5 hours. At the viewpoint, you can relax, take photos, and enjoy views of Pedra da Gávea, Restinga de Marambaia, the beaches visited along the route, and, on very clear days, Christ the Redeemer.
After the hike, return to Grumari and stop at a secluded wooden beach kiosk near calm waters. You will have time to swim in the ocean, sunbathe, and rest while lunch is prepared fresh. Lunch includes fish or chicken, with a vegetarian option available on request in advance.
After lunch, return to the city along the coast, enjoying more panoramic views before being dropped off at your hotel.

This tour recommends bringing a camera, sunglasses, a cap, water, comfortable shoes, weather-appropriate layered clothing, a swimsuit, and a towel for swimming in the ocean.
The hike is described as moderate. The guided hike to Telegraph Rock takes approximately 2.5 hours, including time for hiking and exploration.
