Rio Nature: Tijuca Forest and Botanical Garden
Enjoy Rio de Janeiro’s diverse natural environment up close. Visit the Botanical Sensory Garden, the Brazilwood (the tree that gives the nation its name), the Turtle Lake, and the lake with the giant water lily to start your tour at the Botanical Garden. Pass through the bicentenary imperial palm trees as you approach the orchidarium and bromeliad house.
After that, go to the Vista Chinesa gazebo to enjoy a 360-degree view of Rio de Janeiro with its mountains, forests, and ocean from 388 meters above sea level (visitation is temporarily suspended while it is inaccessible by vehicles). You can also see Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf in the distance. Follow to an adventure at Tijuca National Forest, one of the largest urban forests in the world. Learn more about the Atlantic Forest with its flora and fauna as you explore the Taunay Waterfall on a short trail. Return to the car and drive past the famous São Conrado beach to see the hang gliders and paragliders before making a scenic detour back to the hotel.

Cancellations can be done until 24 hours prior departure.
After booking and finalizing payment, you will receive a confirmation for your purchase. Then, in less than 24 hours, you will receive the voucher that you can use to take the excursions.
If the reservation is for the next day, we will be attentive and we will send you the voucher before your excursion begins.
It is recommended that you bring hat and sunglasses for sun protection, repellent, and a jacket, as the forest is high in altitude and can be chilly.
Round-trip transportation to hotels in the South Zone (Botafogo, Copacabana, Leme, Ipanema, Leblon) are included. No pickups at Hostels or B&B.

Once you’ve completed your booking and payment, you’ll receive a confirmation of your purchase. Within 24 hours, you’ll receive the voucher you’ll need to participate in the excursions.
