Your tour begins in the morning with pick-up from selected hotels in Rio de Janeiro’s South Zone, including Copacabana, Ipanema, Leblon, and Flamengo, as well as the city center. If pick-up is not available at your exact location, the closest meeting point will be indicated.
After leaving Rio, enjoy a comfortable one-hour drive to Petrópolis in an air-conditioned vehicle. Along the way, admire the mountain scenery and panoramic views of the Serra dos Órgãos National Park.
Once in Petrópolis, pass by the Quitandinha Palace, a former hotel and casino from the 1940s. You will also visit the Cathedral of São Pedro de Alcântara, a beautiful neo-Gothic monument where Dom Pedro II, one of Brazil’s emperors, is buried.
The tour continues with a visit to the Imperial Museum, where you will learn more about the history of Brazil and the imperial family through a rich collection of objects, including the crown of Dom Pedro II. You will also see the Crystal Palace, once used for grand banquets and celebrations.
As you cross the city’s avenues, you will head toward the House of Santos Dumont, a museum dedicated to the famous Brazilian inventor and aviation pioneer. This visit is optional, and entrance tickets are not included.
You will have free time to enjoy the city as you prefer. You may choose to walk along Rua Teresa, known for its large shopping area, or visit the Bohemia Brewery tour to explore traditional Brazilian beer. The tour also includes a stop for lunch, but food is not included.
At the end of the visit, return comfortably to Rio de Janeiro.

Cancellations can be done until 72 hours prior departure.
After booking and finalizing payment, you will receive a confirmation for your purchase. Then, in less than 24 hours, you will receive the voucher that you can use to take the excursions.
If the reservation is for the next day, we will be attentive and we will send you the voucher before your excursion begins.
Yes. Hotel pick-up and drop-off from hotels in South Zone (Copacabana, Ipanema, Leblon, Flamengo) and Downtown are included – if you’re not staying at one of the hotels in our pick-up list you will be informed of the nearest pickup point and time.
It is recommended to bring: sunglasses, hat, sunscreen, repellent, water, comfortable shoes and clothing appropriate to the weather (chilly).

Once you’ve completed your booking and payment, you’ll receive a confirmation of your purchase. Within 24 hours, you’ll receive the voucher you’ll need to participate in the excursions.
If you’ve booked an excursion for the following day, don’t worry. We’ll make sure to send you the voucher before the excursion begins.
