Itinerary

GUIDED WALK THROUGH THE FOREST + CULTURAL EXPERIENCE + HEAVY APPETIZER

You will be able to visit and discover many fauna and flora outside of the tourist area in this private reserve of La Lorenza Iguazu. Also, you will learn about the history of the classic Argentinian infusion “Mate”, as well as harvest and prepare your own yerba mate.

When we get to La Lorenza, we’ll hike a forest trail that is home to a variety of plant and bird species, many of which are unique to the ecoregion.

You will see some natural events on this interpretive walk that have a dynamic and distinctive impact on the forest.

A typical home will be the ideal environment for learning about the local way of life and our national drink, “Mate”.

We will make this well-known beverage by hand, starting from scratch with the plant, in front of a small wood fire.

While sipping this infusion, a local farmer will talk about the history of Mate, who discovered this sacred plant, the social codes that govern this tradition, and why it is so significant to Argentines.

The visit concludes on our private deck, which has a gorgeous view of the Paraná River. We will provide a delectable appetizer and drinks at this special and unique location.

What are your cancellation policies?

If for any reason, you decide to cancel the activity or excursion, the cancellation conditions specified in the product description or in the voucher will be valid.

If the cancellation conditions in the product description do not differ, the provider of tourist services will charge you the following cancellation fees:

If the cancellation happens between 0 and 7 days before the service, 100% must be paid.
If the cancellation happens between 14 and 7 days before the date, 50% must be paid.
If the cancellation happens between 14 and 30 days before the date, 30% must be paid.
If the cancellation happens more than 30 days before the service, it is taken as a credit for the next service (valid for 1 year).

What happens after booking?

After booking and finalizing payment, you will receive a confirmation for your purchase. Then, in less than 24 hours, you will receive the voucher that you can use to take the excursions.

If the reservation is for the next day, we will be attentive and we will send you the voucher before your excursion begins.

Are transfers from/to hotel included?

Transfers from to/your hotel in Puerto Iguazu are included. Transfers in Foz de Iguacu are not included.

Can the tour be canceled due to weather conditions?

If the weather is too bad, the tour could be rescheduled or cancelled.
