Ride, hike, and paddle your way through Patagonia
Your journey begins at 9:30 AM with a short transfer from El Chaltén to Estancia Bonanza. Once there, you’ll gear up and begin a two-hour horseback ride through the Vizcacha canyon and across grasslands with amazing views of Mount Fitz Roy. The trail winds into a native lenga and ñire forest, arriving at the peaceful Laguna Lita.
While lunch is being prepared, a brief hike leads to a viewpoint overlooking Laguna Cóndor. After enjoying a traditional camp-style meal, the adventure continues with a short walk to the river where the kayaks are waiting.
You’ll receive your gear—including dry bags, neoprene suit, and safety equipment—and a safety talk before setting off on a 12 km paddle down the Río de las Vueltas. This section of the river is shallow, meandering, and surrounded by pristine Patagonian forest. The kayaking lasts around 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on river and wind conditions.
After the paddle, you’ll return to Estancia Bonanza to change into dry clothes and be driven back to the base in El Chaltén, arriving around 6:00 PM.

Almost all of our tours are done in small groups. All of them have english speaking guides.

The tour runs on December 24 and 31. There is no operation on December 25 or January 1.
Yes, the minimum age to participate is 12 years old.
Due to the physical demands of horseback riding and kayaking, it is not recommended for people with reduced mobility.
15 days before the date of your tour.
After booking and finalizing payment, you will receive a confirmation for your purchase. Then, in less than 24 hours, you will receive the voucher that you can use to take the excursions.
If the reservation is for the next day, we will be attentive and we will send you the voucher before your excursion begins.
No previous horseback or kayaking experience is needed. The activity is suitable for beginners in good physical condition.
We recommend comfortable clothing for horseback riding, sunscreen, a towel, thermal t-shirt, and a change of underwear for the kayaking part.
Just complete the booking form. When you finish will be redirected to Paypal where you can pay the tour. You can pay without an account and with your credit card. 
Once you’ve completed your booking and payment, you’ll receive a confirmation of your purchase. Within 24 hours, you’ll receive the voucher you’ll need to participate in the excursions.
If you’ve booked an excursion for the following day, don’t worry. We’ll make sure to send you the voucher before the excursion begins.
