Full Day Angra dos Reis & Ilha Grande
Your tour begins in the morning with pick-up from selected hotels in Rio de Janeiro’s South Zone, including Copacabana, Leme, Ipanema, and Leblon. Pick-up may also be available from Barra da Tijuca in the West Zone. If pick-up is not available in your area, the closest meeting point will be indicated.
From Rio, travel approximately 165 kilometers to Angra dos Reis, located in the Green Coast region. Once you arrive, head to the boarding pier at Santa Luzia Station and embark on a schooner for a scenic ride toward Ilha Grande, one of the top beach destinations in the state.
Your first stop will be the Botinas Islands, one of the most iconic postcards of Angra dos Reis. Their calm waters, with different shades of blue, are ideal for a refreshing swim.
Continue toward Ilha Grande and visit the Blue Lagoon, a natural aquarium known for its clear waters, colorful fish, corals, and starfish visible on the ocean floor. This stop is especially suitable for those who want to snorkel or float in the water, but visitors should know how to swim if they want to get off the boat, as there is no pier or sand strip for disembarking.
You will also enjoy Araçá Beach, a quiet beach near the Blue Lagoon, surrounded by large rocks and preserved native forest. Later, visit Praia das Flechas, where there will be a stop for lunch at a local restaurant and time to swim in the sea.
At the end of the schooner tour, disembark at the pier and return comfortably to Rio de Janeiro.

There is no age restriction for this activity.
Access for people with walking difficulties is not included, so it is not recommended for people with reduced mobility.
