The Full Moon Walking Tour in Iguazu Falls, Argentina
Iguazu Falls is already a breathtaking destination by day, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature. But for five magical nights each month, nature puts on a once-in-a-lifetime nighttime show: the Full Moon Walking Tour.
What Is the Full Moon Tour?
Each month, during the full moon phase, the Iguazu National Park offers a special nighttime experience. Under the light of the full moon, visitors walk along the trails of the park to the famous Devil’s Throat, the most iconic and powerful waterfall in the entire system.
The moonlight transforms the jungle, casting silver reflections on the Upper Iguazu River and creating a calm, mystical atmosphere. The sounds of nature at night, combined with the soft glow of the moon, offer an unforgettable experience—one filled with emotion, wonder, and even moments of meditation or romance.
What to Expect on the Tour
-
You’ll board the Ecological Train of the Jungle at Central Station
-
Ride through the forest under the stars to reach Garganta del Diablo Station
-
Walk along steel catwalks to reach the moonlit viewing balcony at Devil’s Throat
-
Spend quiet time at the falls, surrounded by the sounds of the night and shimmering water
Photographs can be challenging unless you have the right equipment, so the best advice is: put your camera down and live the moment.
