Buenos Aires is a great city, located over the famous Rio de la Plata, in front of Uruguay. You can arrive by air, to any of the different airports available, by sea in a cruise or by ferry if you visited Uruguay first. Take a look to the following information:

ARRIVING TO BUENOS AIRES BY AIR

International travellers usually arrive to Buenos Aires by air. There are three airports available at this moment:

Ministro Pistarini International Airport, Ezeiza (EZE)
Usually called “Ezeiza Airport” and signed as EZE, the Ministro Pistarini Airport is the biggest airport in Argentina. It`s located in Ezeiza (from there the name), 32km (20 miles) from the centre of Buenos Aires city. This is the arrival airport for the main part of the international flights that came and also depart from here, along with some domestic and regional flights. The journey from the airport to the centre of the city takes about 50 minutes. Taxis and remis services are available

Jorge Newbery Airport, known as Aeroparque (AEP)
Usually called “Aeroparque”, and signed as AEP, the Jorge Newbery Airport is the local airport of the city. Located in the city itself, in the Palermo neighbourhood, this airport is within 25 minutes of the main hotels in Buenos Aires. It serves mainly domestic flights and flights to neighbouring countries.

El Palomar (EPA)
It`s a new airport, located 18km (11 miles) from the city. El Palomar Airport began serving a range of low-cost domestic flights to destinations throughout Argentina.
