Your adventure begins with early hotel pickup in El Calafate. The route heads toward the Chilean border, and the experience differs slightly depending on the transport mode you selected. The Traditional Bus follows a standard group journey, while the Overland 4×4 offers a more comfortable ride with extra space and better window visibility.
After clearing border procedures, the road enters Torres del Paine National Park. From this point on, both transport options share the same itinerary. The first scenic stop is Lago Toro, which offers broad views of the massif and surrounding landscapes. The next highlight is Laguna Amarga, known for its striking colors and clear views of the Paine peaks.
The tour continues toward the Nordenskjöld Lake viewpoint, where you will take a short guided walk to appreciate the lake and mountain backdrop. The choice of vehicle no longer impacts the rhythm of the tour, as everyone participates together at each stop.
You will then visit Puerto Pudeto and Salto Grande, where a guided walk of about 40 minutes leads to the impressive waterfall. When conditions allow, your guide may offer an additional walk of roughly 50 minutes to reach other viewpoints. This option applies equally for both transport modes.
The final major viewpoint is Lago Pehoé, famous for its turquoise waters and dramatic landscape. After enjoying this stop, the journey returns toward the border. On the return drive, the Traditional Bus maintains a steady group pace, while the Overland 4×4 often provides a quieter and more comfortable ride thanks to its smaller group size.
Once border procedures are completed, the trip concludes with the drive back to El Calafate. You will arrive in the evening and be dropped off at your hotel.

After booking and finalizing payment, you will receive a confirmation for your purchase. Then, in less than 24 hours, you will receive the voucher that you can use to take the excursions.

Since this excursion is with an international crossing of borders, it is VERY important to take special care to verify that there are no errors or omissions in sending the information of each passenger. The document or passport to present at the border must be the same informed in the reservation, it must be current and in perfect condition. Passengers Argentines: DNI or passport. Foreign passengers: Mercosur ID or passport. In case of Present Mercosur ID, you must also carry an immigration card to enter Argentina. It is Passenger’s responsibility to verify and process the Visas or permits entry / exit to Chile and Argentina corresponding to their nationality. Special cases of double nationality please consult. Under 18s must bring supporting documentation parental bond. In case of traveling with legal guardian or a single parent, you must carry authorization from parent trip or absent parent. The travel authorization must be certified by a notary public and legalized. The operator reserves the right to request a copy of the same to verify before immigration authorities prior to the trip. The operator will not refund any amount in the case of that a passenger cannot enter Chile due to an inconvenience related to their documentation.
