Half Day Historical City Tour in Santiago de Chile

Starting the tour with the transfer from the hotel, or pre-established point, they will go to the Paris and London neighborhood, passing by the San Francisco Church and Convent. The streets and buildings throughout this area are related to episodes in the modern history of Chile, such as the Socialist Party Headquarters and the London 38 Corporation, a building used as a clandestine detention center after the Military Coup. Currently, it is a center for cultural reflection and creation.

Then, you will visit the civic center where the La Moneda Presidential Palace, Plaza de La Constitución, Ministries, Stock Exchange, Supreme Court, etc. are located, passing through the old building of El Mercurio, a newspaper founded in 1827, courts of justice and former Royal Customs Palace. Then they will walk to the Plaza de Armas, where they will appreciate the Metropolitan Cathedral, Municipal Palace, Central Post Office, National Historical Museum, Former National Congress, and Diplomatic Academy.
