The experience begins with hotel pick-up in San Pedro de Atacama, followed by a transfer of approximately 60 km northeast toward the Sairecabur volcanic group.
The approach continues along a historic mining route to the starting point of the climb at around 5,600 meters above sea level.
After a technical briefing and preparation, the ascent begins toward the summit, with an elevation gain of approximately 400 meters, reaching 5,980 meters above sea level.
At the summit, there is time to observe the 4.5 km caldera, the crater lake, and lava flows across the volcano, along with panoramic views of the Chilean-Bolivian border.
After descending, the group returns to the vehicle and travels back to San Pedro de Atacama, ending the experience with hotel drop-off.
