Itinerary

The experience begins with hotel pick-up in San Pedro de Atacama, followed by a transfer toward the Portezuelo Hito Cajón sector, within the Puricó volcanic group.

Upon arrival, participants approach the starting point of the ascent at approximately 5,300 meters above sea level. Before beginning the climb, there is a technical briefing and preparation session.

The ascent continues with an elevation gain of around 300 meters, leading to the summit of Cerro Toco at 5,604 meters above sea level.

At the summit, there is time to enjoy panoramic views of nearby landmarks, including the Licancabur and Juriques volcanoes, Laguna Blanca in Bolivia, and the ALMA Observatory.

After descending, the group returns to the vehicle and travels back to San Pedro de Atacama, concluding the experience with hotel drop-off.
