The experience begins with hotel pick-up in San Pedro de Atacama, followed by a journey of approximately 110 km southeast toward the Altiplano.
The first stop is at the Miscanti and Miñiques Lagoons, located at around 4,200 meters above sea level within the Los Flamencos National Reserve. Here, you will explore the area surrounded by volcanoes while learning about the lagoons’ geological formation and ecological significance.
The journey continues for approximately 50 km to Piedras Rojas, located in the Salar Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival, you will take a one-hour walk to observe the distinctive red rock formations shaped by iron oxidation, with time to enjoy the surrounding landscapes and take photographs.
The tour includes a stop in the village of Socaire, where lunch is served. After the visit, the group returns to San Pedro de Atacama, ending with hotel drop-off.
