Laguna Sofía Horseback Ride
The excursion begins in Puerto Natales with a twenty minute transfer to Estancia Laguna Sofía. Upon arrival, you will meet your guides and receive a short briefing before selecting the horses based on each rider’s experience. After securing helmets and gaiters, the horseback ride begins toward Laguna Sofía.
As you approach the lake, you will enjoy views of its clear waters surrounded by native flora and fauna. The route continues through natural forest landscapes while offering exceptional vantage points of Cerro Benítez. The ride then advances toward another sector of the estancia, where wide views of the Sierra Señoret ravines begin to appear.
Further along, the terrain opens into flat areas that provide additional perspectives of the lake and surrounding landscapes. The journey continues until reaching the area known as Las Cuevas. After a brief stop, the route circles back toward the refuge, following the same scenic surroundings.
This experience is suitable for participants between 4 and 80 years old and includes professional bilingual guides equipped with radios and first aid kits. Circuits may vary according to weather conditions.

After booking and finalizing payment, you will receive a confirmation for your purchase. Then, in less than 24 hours, you will receive the voucher that you can use to take the excursions.
If the reservation is for the next day, we will be attentive and we will send you the voucher before your excursion begins.
Helmets and gaiters are included, and guides carry radios and a first aid kit.
A rain or cold weather jacket and gloves are recommended. Plastic ponchos, shorts, trekking poles, selfie sticks, and drones are not advised.

Once you’ve completed your booking and payment, you’ll receive a confirmation of your purchase. Within 24 hours, you’ll receive the voucher you’ll need to participate in the excursions.
