Humboldt Penguin National Reserve Tour – Full Day
The excursion begins with hotel pick-up in La Serena or Coquimbo, followed by a drive north along the coast toward Punta de Choros, the gateway to the Humboldt Penguin National Reserve.
From the port, participants board a shared boat navigation to explore the reserve, sailing around Damas and Choros Islands, where Humboldt penguins and other marine species inhabit the area.
During the navigation, visitors enjoy views of the coastal landscapes and have opportunities to observe marine wildlife in its natural habitat.
After returning to the mainland, the experience continues with lunch at a rustic local restaurant, featuring dishes prepared with regional ingredients.
Before returning to La Serena, the journey includes a stop along the road to observe terrestrial wildlife, such as chilla foxes, donkeys, and llamas.
At the end of the day, transportation returns travelers to La Serena or Coquimbo, concluding the excursion with hotel drop-off.

During the boat navigation around Damas and Choros Islands, visitors may observe Humboldt penguins and other marine species in their natural habitat.
