Collowara Observatory Stargazing Experience – Evening Tour
The experience begins with hotel pick-up in La Serena or Coquimbo, followed by a drive to the town of Andacollo, where the Collowara Observatory is located.
Upon arrival, the visit starts with an introductory astronomy talk, where participants learn basic concepts about the night sky while viewing live images of celestial objects.
After the presentation, the group moves to the outdoor observation terraces, where, guided by specialized astronomers and using modern equipment, visitors observe different elements of the galaxy.
The experience concludes inside the main observatory dome, offering a closer view of the facilities and equipment used in astronomical observation.
At the end of the activity, transportation returns travelers to La Serena or Coquimbo, concluding the experience with hotel drop-off.

After booking and finalizing payment, you will receive a confirmation for your purchase. Then, in less than 24 hours, you will receive the voucher that you can use to take the excursions.
If the reservation is for the next day, we will be attentive and we will send you the voucher before your excursion begins.
Warm clothing is recommended. Visitors may also bring a camera or mobile phone with night mode for photographs.
The observatory activity lasts approximately 1.5 hours, excluding transportation.

Once you’ve completed your booking and payment, you’ll receive a confirmation of your purchase. Within 24 hours, you’ll receive the voucher you’ll need to participate in the excursions.
