Alfa Aldea Astronomical Center Night Observation
The experience begins with hotel pick-up in La Serena or Coquimbo, followed by a drive to Vicuña, where the Alfa Aldea Astronomical Center is located among vineyards and open landscapes.
Upon arrival, the visit starts with an introductory astronomy talk, where guides explain basic concepts, including how the radiotelescope works and the equipment used during the observation session.
The experience continues with a 3D visual presentation and educational resources designed to explain the universe and its origins in an accessible and engaging way.
After the presentation, the group moves to the outdoor amphitheater, where the observation alternates between professional telescopes and naked-eye viewing, allowing visitors to identify celestial objects visible in the southern hemisphere sky.
At the end of the session, guides may share tips for night photography using mobile phones, giving visitors the opportunity to capture images of the night sky.
After completing the experience, transportation returns travelers to La Serena or Coquimbo, concluding the activity with hotel drop-off.

After booking and finalizing payment, you will receive a confirmation for your purchase. Then, in less than 24 hours, you will receive the voucher that you can use to take the excursions.
If the reservation is for the next day, we will be attentive and we will send you the voucher before your excursion begins.
Warm clothing is recommended. Visitors may also bring a camera or mobile phone with night mode for photographs.
The observatory activity lasts a little over 2 hours, excluding transportation.
Just complete the booking form. When you finish will be redirected to Paypal where you can pay the tour. You can pay without an account and with your credit card. 
Once you’ve completed your booking and payment, you’ll receive a confirmation of your purchase. Within 24 hours, you’ll receive the voucher you’ll need to participate in the excursions.
If you’ve booked an excursion for the following day, don’t worry. We’ll make sure to send you the voucher before the excursion begins.
