The excursion begins with hotel pick-up in Copiapó, traveling east into the Andes along the Ruta de los Seismiles. As the route gradually ascends, the scenery transforms into wide high-altitude plains surrounded by snow-capped peaks and desert landscapes.
The first major stop is the Maricunga Salt Flat, where seasonal glaciers and meltwater feed nearby lagoons and wetlands.
The journey then continues to Laguna Verde, located at over 4,200 meters above sea level and surrounded by volcanoes and towering mountains. Visitors have time to enjoy the scenery and observe wildlife that inhabits the area.
Throughout the experience, travelers may spot flamingos, geese, ducks, guanacos, and vicuñas in their natural habitat.
After completing the visit, the group returns to Copiapó, concluding the excursion with hotel drop-off.
