Pisco & Agritourism Experience in the Huasco Valley
The experience begins with a scenic drive from Vallenar into the upper Huasco Valley, an area influenced by Spanish settlers and long-standing agricultural traditions.
The first stop is Embalse Santa Juana, where travelers can appreciate the surrounding landscapes and take photographs.
The journey continues to the town of Pinte, offering the opportunity to observe rural life and explore the nearby dam and its surroundings.
Next, the tour visits the town of Vado, where participants explore the local museum and the main square, gaining insight into the region’s cultural and historical background.
The experience then focuses on agritourism, visiting local producers to learn about the production of pisco, pajarete, gin, and goat cheese, accompanied by tastings of these products. During the day, a traditional local lunch is included.
Before returning, the group makes a brief stop at the main square of Alto del Carmen, providing a moment to observe daily life in the town.
The excursion concludes with the return to Vallenar, ending with hotel drop-off.

The tour starts and ends in Vallenar, including hotel pick-up and return.
