The experience begins with hotel pick-up in Copiapó, followed by a drive through the Atacama Desert toward Mina San José, located northwest of the city. During the journey, travelers observe desert dunes and colorful landscapes, with a short stop to walk and take photographs.
Upon arrival at Mina San José, participants visit the Interpretation Center, where the events surrounding the mining accident of August 22, 2010, and the rescue of the 33 miners, are explained.
The excursion continues toward the coastal town of Caldera, where lunch is served at a local restaurant. While in the city, the tour also includes a visit to the Paleontological Museum, known for its fossil collection and preserved specimens.
In the afternoon, the route continues to Bahía Inglesa, where visitors can appreciate its turquoise waters and coastal scenery.
At the end of the visit, the group returns to Copiapó, concluding the tour with hotel drop-off.
