This comprehensive tour includes nature, culture and palaeontology has an estimated duration of 8 hours and operates all year round.
We depart in the morning towards Rawson Port, where we join a boat trip (optional) to meet one of the world’s smallest and prettiest dolphins, the Commerson’s (Cephalorhynchus commersonii).
After the boat trip we continue the tour to the city of Trelew to visit (optional) the fascinating Museum for Palaeontology Egidio Feruglio, one of Latin America’s most important museums in the field. The visit features the different geological eras, from the first humans back to the Big Bang.
Its amazing collection of around 2,000 fossils includes the world’s biggest dinosaur found nearby Trelew in 2013.
Our next stop is Gaiman, 15 km/9 miles west of Trelew. This small town by the Chubut River keeps in very good shape some old buildings dating from the late 19th Century, when Welsh settlers arrived in Chubut to live in this valley.
Gaiman’s architecture, tea-rooms and the tasty Welsh fruit cake are some of the treasures offered to its visitors. Here you can taste the exquisite Welsh Tea service (optional) with a variety of homemade cakes.
Finally, we return to Puerto Madryn late in the afternoon.

After booking and finalizing payment, you will receive a confirmation for your purchase. Then, in less than 24 hours, you will receive the voucher that you can use to take the excursions.
If the reservation is for the next day, we will be attentive and we will send you the voucher before your excursion begins.
