It is aimed at all people who like outdoor activities and adventure, willing to discover new places. You can see the Argentino Lake, the Santa Cruz River, the La Leona River and its beautiful valley, with a panoramic view of the Andes Mountains, including Fitz Roy Hill. Stop for approximately 15 minutes at Hotel La Leona (historical site) and continue 10 km west, following the southern margin of Lake Viedma, until we reach the slope of Cerro Los Hornos (Estancia Santa Teresita), where we arrive around 12 : 00 hs.
We look for the first time at the enormous depression of the land where the petrified logs are and we begin our exploration walk among the fossils. Halfway through the tour we stop for lunch. Along the walk we will see a large number of petrified logs that lie on the surface, some with a diameter of 1.20 meters, testimony of ancient times where the weather was very different from today and allowed the support of an abundant flora and large. Occasionally fossil remains of different types of dinosaurs are discovered.

After booking and finalizing payment, you will receive a confirmation for your purchase. Then, in less than 24 hours, you will receive the voucher that you can use to take the excursions.
If the reservation is for the next day, we will be attentive and we will send you the voucher before your excursion begins.
Regular Departures from El Calafate: The excursion is carried out every day with a minimum of two passengers and is subject to weather conditions.
