Full Day Tour to Torres del Paine From El Calafate

Crossing the Patagonian steppe from north to south we will arrive at the border crossing of Cancha Carrera (2hs 20 min), from where we will begin to cross the beautiful south of Chile until entering Torres del Paine National Park (Blue in Tehuelche language, in reference to the prevailing color), around 11.30hs we will make the first panoramic stop on Lake Sarmiento with all the Paine Range in front of us.

The reduced travel times are the result of the enormous benefits of using our latest generation Overland Truck 4×4, which allows excellent performance on asphalt (even above conventional buses) and circulates on gravel almost as much on asphalt. Thanks to the structural strength of these vehicles, we can use two old sections of the ex – Route 40 already in disuse (El Cerrito – Tapi Aike / Fuentes del Coyle – C. Carrera), which allows us to reduce some 200kms between rounds and avoid stopping to the restroom during the route, this generates a reduction of 2 total hours of trip to the conventional excursion.

Once in Paine, we will make several stops with descent (and some without descending thanks to panoramic windows). We stop at Lagos, waterfalls, viewpoints, watching guanacos and foxes, among others. On board our OVERLAND 4X4 TRUCKS we will visit the strategic points, from where we will undertake walks that allow us to access the panoramic viewpoints of the most important natural attractions of the Park.

By default we make a hike of low technical difficulty and minimum physical requirement, being able, if the group is suitable, to carry out a course of greater exigency. The trekking is done accompanied by our trekking guides authorized by CONAF – Chile.

In Laguna Amarga, taking advantage of the potential of our 4x4s, we will go around the lagoon by its sand coasts, to gain access to the best panoramic view of the Torres del Paine. There we make a stop for a short hike.

Then we will continue towards the Paine Waterfall where we will descend to do the picnic on the bank of Paine River overlooking Las Torres.

Lunch is outdoors protected by the vegetation, we will offer a picnic in the mountains, protected by the infrastructure of our Overland trucks. Meals are included and are abundant, so they keep adventurers fed throughout the day.
