We start leaving from your accommodation at 7:30 am and returning around 9:00 pm. After covering part of the Patagonian steppe we will arrive at the Torres Del Paine massif, a 120-year old granite and sedimentary formation.
The first third starts with a steep and constant climb up to “El Paso de Los Vientos” (Wind Passage), 400 meters above sea level. This is the entrance to Ascencio valley continuing with a slight slope towards Chileno shelter, next to the river with the same name as the valley. The next part borders the river with small ups and downs through the forest and some views to the mountains and their glaciers, finishing at Torres campsite.
The last part is climbing a steep and rugged moraine to the viewpoint, it is a short but intense effort leading us to one of the most visited and beautiful viewpoints in Patagonia.
