Private Full-Day Láscar Volcano Climb

The experience begins with hotel pick-up in San Pedro de Atacama, followed by a transfer to the Llano Lejía or Talabre area, where the approach to the volcano begins.

Upon arrival at approximately 5,000 meters above sea level, participants receive a technical briefing and preparation session before starting the ascent.

The climb follows an established route with an approximate elevation gain of 590 meters, depending on seasonal conditions. During the ascent, there are stops for hydration and acclimatization, along with explanations about the volcano’s geological activity.

The route reaches the crater or viewpoint area, where participants can observe the active fumaroles and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes, subject to safety conditions.

After time at the top, the descent follows the same route back to the starting point. The group then returns to San Pedro de Atacama, concluding the experience with hotel drop-off.
