The journey begins with hotel pick-up in Copiapó, traveling east toward the Andes Mountains. Along the route, travelers observe desert landscapes, mountain ranges, and historical mining areas characteristic of northern Chile.
During the drive, the tour includes a stop in the mining town of Puquios, where visitors learn about its historical relevance in the region.
The route then continues through the Lajunta Formation, with a contemplative stop in Vega La Junta, an area known for its paleontological features and distinctive natural environment.
The experience reaches its highlight upon entering Nevado Tres Cruces National Park, where visitors explore Laguna Santa Rosa and the Maricunga Salt Flat, enjoying panoramic views of high-altitude landscapes and opportunities to observe Andean wildlife.
During the day, participants are provided with a snack and a box lunch, allowing time to enjoy the scenery and the natural environment.
After completing the visit, the group returns to Copiapó, concluding the excursion with hotel drop-off.
