The experience begins with pick-up from your hotel, followed by a journey toward the Elqui Valley, a region internationally recognized for its clear skies and excellent conditions for astronomical observation.
Upon arrival at Tololo Observatory, visitors participate in a guided visit where they learn about the scientific work conducted at the facility and the technology used for astronomical research. The guide explains the role of the observatory and its importance in the study of the universe.
Throughout the visit, travelers also enjoy views of the surrounding Andean landscapes, which add a scenic component to this scientific experience. Small walks are part of the visit as participants explore different areas of the observatory.
After completing the visit, transportation returns travelers to their hotel.

After booking and finalizing payment, you will receive a confirmation for your purchase. Then, in less than 24 hours, you will receive the voucher that you can use to take the excursions.
If the reservation is for the next day, we will be attentive and we will send you the voucher before your excursion begins.
Warm clothing is recommended, plus sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses. Weather can change and conditions may be windy or cool.
Yes. The experience includes round-trip transfers from your hotel in La Serena or Coquimbo to the Tololo Observatory.

Once you’ve completed your booking and payment, you’ll receive a confirmation of your purchase. Within 24 hours, you’ll receive the voucher you’ll need to participate in the excursions.
