The day begins in the morning with a meeting point at Avenida Roca 59, Unit 2, in Puerto Madryn, followed by pick-up from selected hotels. The journey heads south toward Estancia El Pedral, crossing the Patagonian steppe while the guide introduces the region’s landscapes and wildlife.
Upon arrival, guests are welcomed at the estancia with coffee, tea, and a homemade treat. The experience continues with a guided interpretive walk to one of Patagonia’s youngest Magellanic penguin colonies. Walking calmly among nests, chicks, and adults, visitors learn about penguin behavior and conservation efforts led by the Global Penguin Society.
Lunch is served in the rustic quincho and features slow-roasted Patagonian lamb cooked over open fire, accompanied by fresh salads and dessert. This is a relaxed break, sheltered from the Patagonian wind and sun.
In the afternoon, the tour continues to Punta Ninfas Lighthouse, perched on cliffs overlooking the entrance to Nuevo Gulf. Depending on the time of year, it is possible to spot whales, elephant seals, sea lions, and even orcas along the coast. Before returning, the visit includes the shearing sheds, where guests learn about Merino wool production and traditional sheep farming life.
The return journey to Puerto Madryn begins in the afternoon, with arrival at hotels in the early evening.

Comfortable walking shoes, sun protection, a hat, and weather-appropriate clothing are recommended.
Yes. Guests may arrive at Estancia El Pedral with their own vehicle and will be welcomed at the quincho upon arrival.
Just complete the booking form. When you finish will be redirected to Paypal where you can pay the tour. You can pay without an account and with your credit card. 
Once you’ve completed your booking and payment, you’ll receive a confirmation of your purchase. Within 24 hours, you’ll receive the voucher you’ll need to participate in the excursions.
