Your evening begins with a pick up from your hotel in San Pedro de Atacama, heading into the vast desert under one of the clearest skies on Earth. You will arrive at a special location where firelight, quiet surroundings and the desert night set the stage for a unique cultural encounter. While enjoying an aperitif, your guide will introduce the Andean way of understanding the sky, sharing myths, stories and symbolic interpretations that connect celestial bodies with the spiritual world.

Long before telescopes existed, Andean peoples already interpreted the firmament in a profound way, integrating this knowledge into daily life, agriculture, pastoral activities, artistic expressions and ceremonial practices.

After the introductory experience, you will begin an astronomical observation session. First, you will observe the sky with the naked eye, learning to identify stars and constellations in a traditional manner. You will then continue with professional telescopes, guided by modern scientific concepts that will complement and contrast with the ancestral view. Both perspectives together offer a rich and meaningful way to appreciate the night sky.

At the end of the experience, you will return to your hotel.
