We depart early in the morning heading south along Route 40, passing through Tunuyán and San Carlos until we reach San Rafael, located 240 km from Mendoza. From there, we continue to Valle Grande, a picturesque destination known for its unique rock formations and adventure tourism options (optional). You’ll have free time to enjoy lunch and explore the area.
The journey continues to the impressive Atuel Canyon, a natural wonder sculpted over time by wind and water. On our return, we’ll pass by El Nihuil Dam and Reservoir, where you can see hydroelectric plants and enjoy views of the Villa 25 de Mayo, a historic site near San Rafael.
Important: Due to storm damage in the Atuel Canyon area, the standard itinerary may be temporarily replaced with an alternative San Rafael tour.

Yes, you’ll have free time for optional adventure activities like rafting or ziplining. These are not included and can be arranged on-site.
Yes, this full-day excursion is appropriate for all ages, but it includes long travel times. Bring snacks, water, and wear comfortable clothing.

Once you’ve completed your booking and payment, you’ll receive a confirmation of your purchase. Within 24 hours, you’ll receive the voucher you’ll need to participate in the excursions.
If you’ve booked an excursion for the following day, don’t worry. We’ll make sure to send you the voucher before the excursion begins.
