Itinerary

Day 1: Trek to Wiñay Wayna and Inti Punku
Start your adventure by boarding the train from Ollantaytambo to kilometer 104 of the railway. From here, the hike begins, taking you through lush vegetation along the Urubamba River to the fascinating Wiñay Wayna complex. Explore its terraces, learn about its historical significance, and enjoy a box lunch amidst the stunning surroundings.

Continue your journey along the Inca Trail, surrounded by abundant flora, until reaching Inti Punku, the Sun Gate. Here, you’ll get your first glimpse of the majestic Machu Picchu. Afterward, descend to Aguas Calientes to rest and recharge for the following day.

Day 2: Explore Machu Picchu
Start your day with a guided tour of Machu Picchu. Learn about its construction, purpose, and significance during the Tahuantinsuyo. Visit its terraces, temples, and other enclosures, all with the breathtaking Huayna Picchu as a backdrop. After the tour, return to Aguas Calientes to await your train back to Ollantaytambo, followed by a shared transfer to your Cusco hotel.

Changes of Dates

If you need to change your travel dates, please inform us within 30 days of your change request. Please note that prices may vary according to our policies.

Individual Cancellation (1-9 passengers)

42+ days before arrival: 10% of deposits
41-32 days before arrival: 30% of invoice value
31-17 days before arrival: 50% of invoice value
16 days or less: 100% of invoice value

62+ days before arrival: 10% of deposits
61-32 days before arrival: 30% of invoice value

No Show

If you cancel the service or do not show up, an additional 18% VAT will be charged on the corresponding service fees.

What happens after booking?

After booking and finalizing payment, you will receive a confirmation for your purchase. Then, in less than 24 hours, you will receive the voucher that you can use to take the excursions.

If the reservation is for the next day, we will be attentive and we will send you the voucher before your excursion begins.

What should I bring for the trek?

We recommend comfortable trekking shoes, sunscreen, a hat, a rain jacket, and a reusable water bottle.

Are meals included in the experience?

A box lunch is provided on the first day. Other meals are not included, so plan accordingly.

What Happens After Booking?
