Argentine Tango Tour in Buenos Aires

We will pick you up at the hotel to go to the neighborhood you want:

Recoleta: the tour begins with a visit to two of the city’s most important cabarets at the time of the Old Guard. Then we ́ll go to the Palais de Glace, La Biela Cafe, and watch a couple dancing at a typical “tapete”, a rug used to dance on the street. The tour ends with a visit to the Recoleta Cemetery before returning to the hotel.

San Telmo: begins at Buenos Aires’s historic center and Defensa Street, with its tenements and the mythical San Telmo market, an area full of Tango’s history. Afterward, we will visit Plaza de Mayo and some of the city’s most iconic bars about Tango. Before returning to the hotel, our last stop will be at the Botica del Ángel, the emblematic stage in which many Tango icons gained popularity.

El Abasto: in this case, our guests will be able to visit an off the beaten track neighborhood where a lot of Tango’s magic happens. They will be immersed in the profound relationship between Tango and the neighborhood, both in the past and present. We will visit Carlos Gardel’s house, streets full of “fileteado”, the traditional way of writing and painting related to Tango, and more, before we head back to the hotel.
