Enjoy Puno and Titicaca Lake!

It`s a great 2-night program to visit Puno and the Titicaca Lake. Puno is an incredible place with archaeological remains, both pre-Inca, Inca and colonial and also considered the folkloric capital of Peru for the variety and beauty of its dances that represent the mix of the Quechua, Aymara and Hispanic peoples, and that can be appreciated in its maximum splendor during the celebrations of the Virgen de la Candelaria. From there, you can visit the Titicaca Lake, known as the highest navigable lake in the world. It`s a large and deep lake in the border of Bolivia and Peru and many boat navigations can be done. For example to visit Uros and Taquile Island.

Puno is a must-see if you want to make a complete visit of Peru. Are you ready to enjoy Puno and Titicaca Lake with RipioTurismo?

TITICACA LAKE: Visiting Uros and Taquile Islands

After breakfast, and in the morning we will enjoy a tour to visit the unique Titicaca Lake. We will go to Taquile Island, where the community kindly welcomes tourists, keeping alive their traditions, customs, and colorful clothing in the old-fashioned style. The islanders are skilled artisans and capture in each work surprising techniques developed over centuries by their ancestors. Then visit the floating islands of the Uros, also called the Town of the Lake, because these islands are built with layers of totora and serve as homes and trading centers for the natives of the same name who are mobilized in rafts built by hand.
